Once again a bit of a miserable rainy night but we still had a decent turnout for this month's open mic night at the Duke.

This time saw the addition of a couple of new faces - Freddy who played guitar and sang some of his original compositions along with some covers, and Tom who did a couple of tunes acapella, alongside more familiar ones.

Liz and Brian, making their second appearance at the Duke, gave us a fine set, as did the one and only Stutly. It was Trevor's birthday, so he came up and performed a couple of '50's classics - Johnny B Goode and Great Balls of Fire, accompanied by Larry and Martin.

Local favourites Pop Lark rounded out the evening with a selection of their original songs, and then it was once again time for the peculiarly chaotic rendition of Goodnight Sweetheart that always ends the night.

Looking forward to next month, when the weather should (hopefully) be a bit better and another fun evening. Hope to see you there!
